Wire conveyor belts
The body structure of the wire conveyor belt is made of steel strands, and this is the reason for the low stretch in this type of belt. Therefore, it is widely used in cement factories, stone factories, mines, power plants, etc., where heavy materials are moved. In particular, this type of belt is perfect for long lines that require high tensile strength.
They are used in almost all branches of industry as a means of increasing the speed of transportation and handling of products, as well as the overall efficiency of production. These belts are often part of production equipment and technological units. These are mainly wire belts, but also hinged steel belts.
This belt has the characteristics of low elongation in the warp and good indentation in the weft, good water resistance, good wet strength, suitable for transporting materials over long and heavy distances.

Materials used
Belts are made of different materials according to the purpose of use. The most common materials for their production are shiny types of normal quality steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel or steel resistant to high temperature and persistent acids. In the case of metal belts, the application range is for temperatures from -200°C to +1200°C.

Bottom stretch
The most prominent feature of the steel conveyor belt is the low stretch rate.
The steel conveyor belt is most effective where the installation of the conveyor system requires extremely limited sliding, and also where the fabric belts are not effective. A steel conveyor belt requires 0.25% slippage or less in the conveyor system compared to a factory conveyor belt.
Good formation
Steel conveyor belt has more formability compared to fabric conveyor belt. However, if the ductility is too deep, it will cause point friction (see the circles created in Figure 1(C)) which will damage the strip. The steel conveyor belt, which is protected by two transverse layers of TRC wire, is the best option for use in common applications. As mentioned earlier, the steel strips of this company are available in two different types, so according to the width of the strip, the forming angle, the materials being transported and the operating conditions, the most suitable strip can be selected.
The diameter of the money can be smaller
Each steel string that makes the belt hard and strong is made of wires with a smaller diameter, so it has more flexibility compared to ordinary cables. In addition, since the tension of the steel belt is supported by a protective layer of steel strands, it suffers less fatigue from frequent bending compared to fabric conveyor belts, and therefore the pulleys They can be made in a smaller diameter.
